Black Clover Mobile Arriving This 2022; Manganime-Based RPG

A new game based on the iconic Black Clover series is on the way, at least in Japan. Black Cover Mobile, an action RPG, has been unveiled by Pearl Abyss and Vic Game Studios. It will be available on Android and iPhone in 2022. However, no date set date for its release in the West. Below is a trailer with several gameplay moments, as well as the first official images.

Black Clover Mobile

  • The video depicts a Genshin Impact-style role-playing game in which gamers will be able to indulge themselves in the biggest events of the manga and anime, comparable to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
  • As reported by ComicBook, it appears that users will not be limited to handling Asta, the protagonist, but will be able to acquire other characters as well.
  • Furthermore, additional characters will be released, as the images visible during gaming indicate that the characters are from Season 1.

The visual quality is not surprising, taking into account mobile games like the abovementioned Genshin Impact, Call of Duty: Mobile, and Real Racing 3. Black Cover Mobile looks to be on an equal level.

It’s unclear whether Black Cover Mobile will be available in the West, but given the manganime’s success beyond Japan, it wouldn’t be shocking if Pearl Abyss did. Vic Games Studios is a new South Korean studio that is a subsidiary of Pearl Abyss, the publisher and developer of the successful Black Desert Online as well as the much-anticipated Crimson Desert and DokeV.

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
