Is League of Legends down right now?

At the time of writing, the League of Legends server seems to be down. This is an issue across almost every server. So, don’t worry. It’s not an issue from your end, mostly from the developers. Here are the current issues players are facing due to the League of Legends server being down:

• Online lag and latency in game
• Matchmaking rate
• Game crashes

An official statement by Riot

Usually, Riot takes it to their Twitter handle to post the status of the servers, but as of now, no official statement from the devs has been made, as the reason behind the server being down has not been found yet. However, the devs are aware of the problems their players are having when logging into League of Legends.

When will the League of Legends server come back up?

Riot has provided no official time stamp on when the servers will be back up. • On the top, you will notice a bar with the option “Service status”
• Click the service status option.
• Select the game you want to check the server status for and fill in the server location.
• Once done, click submit, and you can find the current League of Legends server status.
