Nearly half of those surveyed said they regularly rotate between just two and four games.

Successful game development often revolves around delivering that steady sense of progress. Social features help too. Finding new players is not just about flashy ads anymore. Nearly 70% of respondents said engaging gameplay is one of the most important factors when choosing a game. Almost half also said advertisements should accurately reflect the real experience. That shift reflects how gaming industry innovations are changing the way companies approach player trust and retention.

RPG fans are not shy about spending either. On average, players make their first purchase just 1.7 days after installing a game. Many spend money to speed up progression, unlock premium features, or gain access to exclusive rewards.
