AMD To Launch RDNA 3 This Year; Hopes To Meet Market Demand

BY JC Paredes 4 years AGO 2 MIN READ

AMD is a major player in the world of technology, particularly in the video game industry. They manufacture the heart of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox X/S, as well as PC gaming processors and graphics cards.

Investors recently met with the company’s president, Dr. Lisa Su, to discuss the brand’s successful year in 2021. Compared to 2020, the company’s sales grew by 68%. The price of graphics has gone up, as well as the demand from both consumers and businesses. There’s also a need from huge corporations like Sony and Microsoft for this technology.

Even if the company’s financial performance is excellent, Dr. Lisa Su believes that market analysts undervalue the company’s capabilities in the graphics card industry. To be precise, new Ryzen CPUs with Zen 4 architecture and a new GPU with RDNA 3 architecture will be available this 2022.

“We feel good about the progress we’ve made in PCs and we’ll continue to ensure that we’re matching sell in with sell out so that there is not inventory build-up in the business.”

It is not necessarily a given that AMD’s supply chain will return to normal this year, despite the fact that the price of graphics cards has already begun to fall. The availability of these products in stores, on the other hand, will be far more straightforward (and if Sony and Microsoft put more consoles on sale). After a while, everything will return to normal and costs will be closer to what manufacturers propose, but there is still a long way to go.

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
