Very quickly, here’s what you can expect in Animal Crossing’s new update –

Firework Show
Like in the previous games, you’ll be able to watch, experience, and enjoy Fireworks on Sunday nights in August. The first Fireworks show will start on August 2nd. Isabelle will run the Fireworks, Redd will set up shop in the plaza and sell Raffle tickets. You’ll be able to exchange these Raffle tickets for prizes. But be careful in your transactions with Redd. You can also light your own sparkles and custom-designed fireworks and wear cool headphones that’ll make you unique during the fireworks nights.
Dream Islands
In the new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update, you can visit other players while asleep. Once your characters climb into bed, you will be transported to a world of dreams inhabited by Luna. Luna will help you access dream islands. And you’ll be able to show off your own dream islands as well.
This is basically a feature for other players to visit your island when you’re offline. The other players visiting won’t be permanent and they can explore your islands without messing with it. So, you don’t have to worry about that.
Island Backup Restoration Service
With this new feature, you will be able to restore your islands. This means if you lose your Switch device, you can easily recover your island using your Nintendo Switch Online account on another Switch device. This will help a lot of players as their islands will be now secure and safe, and you can easily restore your islands whenever you want.
Fall Update
Finally, we’ll have a big Fall Update, the details of which, will be announced soon. We don’t have any information regarding the release month yet, but we think the update will focus on Halloween and include the return of Jack. Jack claims himself “Czar of Halloween” who will visit your islands on or around October 31. It’d be an exciting update, so stay tuned with us for more information on that.
