Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been crossing all the other games in multiple lists to become the top-selling game. This time around, it’s in the United Kingdom, where Tom Nook’s friends beat Doom Eternal to get Animal Crossing: New Horizons the no. 1 spot in the weekly sales chart.
Both the games were released on the same day, i.e., March 20. Although Doom Eternal has its own fanbase, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is loved by everyone. Even for newer players, Animal Crossing: New Horizons feels like home.
Fun Fact: Doom Eternal came out on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. Yet, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, released only for the Switch, managed to surpass Doom Eternal’s overall sales figures.
On the third spot is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, followed by FIFA 20 on the fourth spot. Here’s the entire list for the week ending March 21st –
