CoD Warzone & Vanguard: Season 2 Delayed, New Release Date

BY JC Paredes 4 years AGO 2 MIN READ

Because of optimization issues, CoD Warzone and Vanguard Season 2 of the well-known military FPS has been postponed. This improvement is absolutely necessary before we can go on to the next level of speed.

“The expected launch is now February 14 instead of February 2. This will allow us to continue balancing and optimizing your gameplay experience, which remains our priority.
Upcoming implementations will address several concerns raised by the community and other quality-of-life improvements. Adjusting the core gameplay loop, mechanics, and balance is a continuing and important focus. Fixes will apply to your platform of choice — two generations of consoles and PC — as well as gameplay in general across all five systems.”

According to the designers, the bulk of issues that have been brought to their attention, such as the rebalancing of firearms and gear, are being addressed. In addition, keep in mind that these fixes not only apply to Warzone and Vanguard but also to past episodes like Black Ops Cold War and Modern Warfare.

It’s possible that the next edition in the Modern Warfare saga might be its sequel, with even an open world… unless the entire thing is limited to the Xbox One and Xbox Series? 🤔

“Going forward, you can expect to hear from us more often regarding Call of Duty’s state of play. Studios remain focused on continuously improving your game experience, and we greatly value our community feedback. More frequent and detailed communication updates will be posted here and across Call of Duty social channels.”

I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
