Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Sold More Than 550,000 Digital Copies
Thanks to the monthly SuperData report, we learn that CTR Nitro-Fueled sold half a million digital copies in June, achieving excellent results.
Although they failed to carve out a place among the top 10 cash-in-stock titles of the month on giants like Roblox, The Division 2 or Dota 2. CTR Nitro-Fueled still turns out to be a remarkable result for the Activision home remaster. The SuperData monthly report on game revenues keeps the usual placings. In the top 10, we find League of Legends on PC, Fortnite on console (on PC it is still in the fifth position) and on mobile Honor of Kings, followed by Pokémon GO.
The highlight of this month’s ranking is Game for Peace, the Tencent version of PUBG made specifically for China. In its first month, Game for Peace was ranked as the sixth-most downloaded mobile game in the world.
Excellent results also for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege which recorded last month, a new record for the peak of active users on the servers. Rainbow Six’s total revenue reached $36.8 million last month, up 50% from May and 9% from the previous year.
Finally, we also find Overwatch, now in its fourth year, exceeding the previous month by $1 billion in in-game spending.
This data shows how digital is getting better and better among users. In fact, from the analyzes carried out, more and more players are buying digital copies of the games, slowly leaving the physical copies on the shelves and preferring to proceed with the purchase on one of the numerous stores like Steam, the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store.
