Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water PC Release Date
It’s always exciting to see a long-running console series make its way to the PC. However, given that the series in question has been inactive for quite some time, it’s a little unexpected.
The most recent installment in the series was introduced in 2015 exclusively on the Wii U, which most fans didn’t possess due to the Wii U’s exclusivity. As a result, many series enthusiasts never had the opportunity to play the game. Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water is receiving a revamped version this year, and it’ll be available on PC.
What’s New?
What’s new, according to Koei Tecmo, are revamped graphics that are more in line with current hardware. Given that even during the PS4 age, Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water was running on older hardware, I’m assuming this mostly relates to resolution with a few minor tweaks.

It doesn’t help that the majority of Koei Tecmo games look as if they were released years ago. A picture mode and extra outfits for the characters will be included in this edition of the game.
Fatal Frame PC Release
Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water was first launched in Japan in September of 2014, followed by a Western in 2015. The game takes place on Hikami Mountain, which is known in the game’s universe for being a suicide hotspot. Fatal Frame features three main characters who alternate at predetermined intervals.
Players will use the Camera Obscura, a spirit camera with exorcism energy, to fight off ghosts, just like in previous installments. However, ghosts will be present. There were a lot of them. Beyond 2021, the game’s release date is still unknown.
