X: Filo and Chinese CARATs Fighting Issue, Here’s What Happened

The SEVENTEEN Follow Tour in Bulacan, Philippines was nothing but stunning and splendid. But who would have known that a Filo and Chinese CARATs fighting issue would go viral on social media? If you happen to encounter the video on your TikTok FYP and swiped up or X feed, here’s what happened and how the two started their ‘brawl.’

The Viral Filo and Chinese CARATs Fighting Issue

What would a concert be without any teas, AKA gossip or highlights (well, except for the artists themselves)? A Filipino CARAT tweeted after the Day 2 Follow Tour in Bulacan, asking what was the reason why a Filo and C-CARATs were fighting after the concert. It reached over 1.8 million views on X, with over 19,000 likes. This began the viral tea about the Filo and Chinese CARATs fighting issue.

It became a thread of the information the fan got, and they also shared that they saw the bouncers separating the Filo fan and three C-CARATs in Section F, and it looks like the latter were pretty much not looking great after the fight.

A day after the viral tweet was posted, the Filo fan involved in the Filo and Chinese CARATs fighting issue reached out to them to share what happened. They asked permission if they could share the timeline of the tea, and after allowing it, the screenshots of what truly happened were spread on X first.

According to the involved Filo fan, the three were bossy and speculated as fan sites since they were in a rush to exit because they needed to get their cameras right away. The fan shared that the C-CARATs were being rude to the marshal, and after being annoyed, they faced the three and told them that if they were in a hurry, they could not have brought their cameras as they knew it wasn’t allowed in the concert area.

The Filo fan said one of the C-fans got offended, so once the gates were opened, the fan hit the Filo fan’s head and ran away. With that folks is how the Filo and Chinese CARATs fighting issue started.

The next circumstances were what we expected to happen. They ran after the fan and the Filo CARAT ‘punched and kicked’ the other. A marshal was quick to move as they separated the two, but the Filipino fan’s friend realized that one of the Chinese CARATs was holding one of the three bags of the Filo fan. Then, they ran after the other one, which caught the attention of many as the Filo fan was shouting. They pulled the hair of the C-CARAT yet the latter did not want to give up the Filipino fan’s bag until a marshal stopped them again. It was grounds for stealing, so they headed to the police after.

Replying to @iamneljie15 Ayun na nga, with consent na binigay yung video. Although hindi kuha sa video yung pagsapak, yung aftermath lang ang tig-film. According to the people who were there, nagulat sila sa lakas ng sapak. “Akala mo hindi ako lalaban sa’yo? @reeseprs

not sure what’s the context here pero kitang kita namin yung pag sampal and sabunot ni filo carat sa mga intl fans shouting “YUNG BAG KO”. I think they’re korean since you can hear them say in hangul “BECAUSE YOU’RE KOREAN” i’m not sure since sa twt sinasabing chinese sila. allegedly, the intl fans we’re the first one to slap the filo-carat. #seventeen #followtourinbulacan #carats #followtour

Another fan also shared that the C-CARATs were also present during the Day 1 of the concert. The bouncers also confiscated their professional cameras, and one C-fan punched a person, saying that the fan was the one who told the bouncers. Moreover, they also said that SEVENTEEN member WOOZI told the bouncers about the fansites, so both Filipino and Korean bouncers were there while their cameras were getting confiscated.

With all these teas happening and the Filo and Chinese CARATs fighting issue still not ending, we hope that concertgoers simply follow the guidelines of the show. Don’t bring unnecessary equipment and just enjoy the show, and in that way, other people won’t get involved with your business. Can’t we just Aju Nice all the way?!
