Horizon: Forbidden West is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC very soon. As the game won’t be released until February 18, 2022, the team behind the open-world action-RPG titles has chosen to give players a tiny token of appreciation while they await the sequel. Unsurprisingly, Guerrilla teamed with Sucker Punch to lend a flavor of Horizon to the game that earned the Game Awards 2020 Players Choice: Ghost of Tsushima. To receive an Aloy armor, Director’s Cut owners will be given the option to download a free upgrade.

How To Claim

This bonus is only available for Ghost of Tsushima: The Director’s Cut. So if you’re keen on wearing this gear, you’ll need to upgrade your copy of the game to get access to Iki Island.

Fortunately, this normally $19.99 upgrade is now only $14.99 on the PlayStation Store!

Obviously, you’ll need to download the newest patch to get the new content. Make sure your game is up to date, the size of this update is around 3.6 GB.

  • With that in mind, you’ll have to journey to Iki Island in order to get your hands on Aloy’s distinctive armor. As luck would have it, the shrine where you may obtain the armor is situated on a little island just north of Iki.
  • Swim there and read the inscription at the altar. This is a brainteaser that you can complete by equipping the legendary archer Tayadori’s hat and armor and utilizing Jin’s power to see the statue’s vulnerabilities. Once you’ve struck it, Aloy’s armor will be yours!
