Let us describe first the types of bosses in Elden Ring. There are 3 types of Bosses in Elden Ring: (1) Field Bosses, (2) Greater Enemy Bosses (Mini-Boss), and (3) Demigods, Lords, and Legends.
- Field Bosses – These are the lowest-tier among the bosses. These bosses indicate an “Enemy Felled” notification when defeated.
- Greater Enemy Bosses – These bosses grant or open-up access to important locations or drop powerful items once defeated. They are stronger than field bosses and notify “Great Enemy Felled” when slain.
- Demigods, Lords, and Legends – These are the most powerful bosses in the game and provide equally powerful loots such as the Great Runes or Mending Runes.

Deeproot depths is an underground root that is a source for the two great rivers, Ainsel and Siofra. The depths are accessible through the Siofra Aqueduct in Nokron Eternal City or through a hidden passage.

Lake of Rot is much like the red blood atmosphere of Caelid. It is downstream of Ainsel River which can be accessed by heading southwest of the Nokstella Waterfall Basin Site of Grace.
