What is the Mesmerizing Dream at Sea event in Genshin Impact?

This is the latest web event in Genshin Impact. If you decide to participate in the Mesmerizing Dream at Sea, you’ll get to answer different questions with Paimon as your host! Other than that, you’ll also get rewards for locking in the right answer. But be careful as your “friendly” emergency food has hard time trying to remember her dreams. So she may get confused and some questions trick you.

To take part in the event, you need to head over to this link and log in with the account you use for Genshin Impact. Make sure that your Adventure Rank is also at 32 or higher since only those players who are at that level can take part in the event.

You also need to complete prerequisite actions to unlock the “island” for a particular day. But don’t worry, the tasks you need to do are simple enough since you’ll probably be doing them by the time you log into Genshin Impact.

Aside from logging in to the game, you’ll need to finish a certain number of Daily Commissions or obtain a certain item in the game. Either way, it’s easy and you won’t break a sweat to gain access to the all new web event.

Event Details

The Mesmerizing Dream at Sea event runs from July 22, 2022 until July 31, 2022. It is perfect for Travelers who have already finished the new limited-time event which features domains from Mona and Fischl. Now that all that’s done, you need to help out Paimon with her dreams this time around.

Additionally, Paimon’s dreams are related to the adventures you made while exploring the new and improved Golden Apple Archipelago. It also makes a couple of references to characters you have went on an adventure together.

And the best part is, each day a new Genshin Impact character joins you and Paimon frolicking out on the beach. From Kazuha to Xinyan to Fischl, they’re all there as Paimon tries her best to recount her dreams and get out of the bind that she’s in.

How to start

To begin the event, go to the official website for the Mesmerizing Dream at Sea. Then, you will see the Traveler with Paimon at the Golden Apple Archipelago. Paimon shares that she had a dream the other night which is still on her mind even after waking up.

From there, you’ll need to help Paimon journey throughout her dream and complete objectives to acquire “inspiration”. After you gather a certain amount of inspiration, you can unlock the five islands or dreams in the event. It is mostly text based since you’ll just have to answer questions and guess whatever the silhouette shown is resembling.

Note that to gain inspiration for the web event, you’ll first need to complete the prerequisite tasks we mentioned earlier. And if you get stuck, the event also gives out snacks for Paimon which can be obtained by doing tasks as well.

These snacks help in making Paimon get a clearer picture of her dream. So if you ever end up choosing the wrong answer, you can always use your snacks as some sort of life during the web event.

• Log in to Genshin Impact
• Complete 2 Daily Commissions
• Catch an Anemo, Cryo, Geo, or Electro Crystalfly once

Mesmerizing Dream at Sea rewards in Genshin Impact

Successfully making Paimon remember each of her dreams rewards Travelers with Primogems and other great rewards.

After you remember the first Dream, Travelers get the following:

• 20 Primogems
• 30,000 Mora

For the second Dream, Travelers get the following if they are able to remember it correctly:

• 3 Hero’s Wit
• 4 Mystic Enhancement Ore
• 2 Sanctifying Unction

When you are able to remember the third Dream, you get the following rewards:

• 30 Primogems
• 30,000 Mora

As for the fourth Dream, here are the rewards Travelers get after remembering it successfully:

• 3 Hero’s Wit
• 4 Mystic Enhancement Ore
• 2 Sanctifying Unction

These rewards are immediately sent in your in-game mail. To check if you’ve gotten your rewards after completing each Dream, log into your Genshin Impact account in the game itself.

From there, bring up the Paimon menu and check your Mail. After confirming that the rewards have been successfully delivered to you through the in-game Mail, you now have your Primogems and other items in your inventory.

But if you’re having trouble claiming them, just log out of your account and log back in again. This usually does the trick as there may just be slight delays in Genshin Impact’s servers.
