BY JC Paredes 5 years AGO 2 MIN READ

The “Rex Incognito” series of books has been one of the best memorabilia available in Genshin Impact for Zhongli enthusiasts. There are four editions in this set that follows the tale of Rex Lapis’ secret missions into the mortal world. Although there is no special achievement or bonus associated with retrieving all of the books in the set, it is a must-read for anyone interested in learning further about Zhongli and the Geo Archon!

Book #1

  • By fast traveling to the Qingce Village waypoint, you can find the very first volume of the sequence.
  • Walk west from the waypoint down a narrow stairway to an open space with stores and tables. You can find the first volume on top of a table beside a cart full of red flower pots.

Book #2

  • Liyue Harbor houses the second installment of Rex Incognito. Fast travel to the waypoint north of the jewelry symbol to locate the book.
  • Gamers should then proceed north towards the harbor from the waypoint. You will discover a lower level of boutiques with a variety of NPCs beneath the docks. The second volume is on top of a wooden chair, near a grandpa.

Book #3

  • Going to the Wangshu Inn will lead you to the third chapter. Go inside the Inn via the walking path from the upper-level waypoint. Gamers will observe a set of stairs leading to the ground level of the Inn when they enter.
  • You will discover a scroll in the form of a fan hanging on the wall to the right of the stairwell. Somewhere under the scroll is the third volume, you will notice it on the table.

Book #4

  • The series’ the last book is set in Liyue Harbor. Walk across the road and up the huge red stairway from the waypoint north of the jewelry symbol. You can buy the volume for 1,500 Mora, along with other book series!

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
