Ores are required to upgrade and build your base in Palworld. To make progress easy, you’ve got to gather them smartly. Let’s talk about how to farm ores automatically. Here’s how:
Set Up a Base Near Ore Spots
Start by setting up another base close to where there’s lots of ore. Best spot? Head northwest from the starting point. See photo below:
Craft Palbox and Wooden Chest
Build a Palbox near the ore area, making sure its radius covers all the surrounding ores. Next to it, add a wooden chest.
Build Straw Pal Beds and Feed Box
Count the number of Pals you will be deploying and build an equal number of Straw Pal Beds. Also, set up a feed box and stock it with some food. This ensures your Pals have a place to rest and food to stay energized.
Create a Hot Spring and Berry Plantation
After creating Straw Pal Beds and a Feed Box, build 3 Berry Plantations and 3 Hot Springs. Assign a planting Pal and Watering Pal on the plantation.
Capture Pals with Mining Skills and Transportation Skills
- Capture Pals that have a ‘mining’ trait (level 2) in their passives. These mining-skilled Pals will efficiently mine ores for you. Recommended Pals for this job include:
- Digtoise (requires more daily food)
- Dumud
- Tombat (can only be captured during nighttime but can also harvest ores during the night)
- Catch 1 to 2 Pals with transportation skills. These Pals will carry the dropped ores to the wooden box.
Once you’ve completed these, deploy all the Pals in the area, and they will automatically farm ores for you. Enjoy!
