In the Pokemon Go Battle League, a special cup is on its way. It’s dubbed the Element Cup, and it’ll force gamers to completely overhaul their “best” Pokemon team due to a set of very specific limitations. Get to know some of the best Pokemon line up in this guide!

EVENT END July 12 1:00PM (PDT)

Season 8 of the Go Battle League is in full swing, and along with the Master League and Master League Classic, Niantic is presenting a completely fresh cup for players to participate in: the Element Cup.

  • Only Fire, Water, and Grass-type Pokemon from the first generation of their Evolutionary line are eligible to contend in this extraordinary cup.
  • The collection of Pokemon to pick from is extremely limited with a maximum CP of 500.
