Pokemon Go Timed Research Pokemon Snap Celebration – Complete Guide

Pokemon Go now has a fresh Timed Research Task! May is shaping up to be a big season for Pokemon Go, with more Kalos Pokemon joining the fray. Furthermore, to commemorate the launch of New Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Go is sponsoring a photo-themed activity! The New Pokemon Snap Celebration Timed Research missions and prizes will be shown in this guide!

Pokemon Snap Celebration

Event Start: 29th of April, 10:00AM (local time)
Event End: 2nd of May, 8:00PM (local time)

1st Stage

TASK INITIAL REWARD
  • Take a snapshot of Aipom, Metapod, or Lotad in the wild.
  • Pokeballs (5x)
  • Use Berries 3x to help capture a Pokemon.
  • Bunnelby encounter.
  • Take 3 Snapshots of any wild Pokemon.
  • Meowth encounter.
Completion Reward: Dodrio Encounter, 5x Nanab Berries, 750 XP

2nd Stage

TASK INITIAL REWARD
  • Take a snapshot of Cacnea, Sandshrew, or Trapinch in the wild.
  • Pokeballs (10x)
  • Use Berries 5x to help capture a Pokemon.
  • Sandshrew encounter.
  • Take 3 Snapshots of any wild Ground-type Pokemon.
  • Onix encounter.
Completion Reward: Skarmory Encounter, 5x Razz Berries, 1,250 XP

3rd Stage

TASK INITIAL REWARD
  • Take a snapshot of Chinchou, Ducklett, or Finneon in the wild.
  • Great Balls (10x)
  • Use Berries 7x to help capture a Pokemon.
  • Wailmer encounter.
  • Take 3 Snapshots of any wild Water-type Pokemon.
  • Quifish encounter.
Completion Reward: Mantine Encounter, 5x Pinap Berries, 2,000 XP

4th Stage

TASK INITIAL REWARD
  • Take 15 Snapshots of any wild Pokemon.
  • Ultra Balls (10x)
  • Take a snapshot of Dodrio, Mantine, or Skarmory in the wild.
  • Skorupi encounter.
  • Use 5x Berries to help capture a Pokemon.
  • 1,000x Stardust
Completion Reward: Clamperl Encounter and 8,000 XP
