Subnautica: Below Zero – Lead Locations

BY JC Paredes 5 years AGO 2 MIN READ

Gamers are pitted against the frosty wetlands of a deadly world in Subnautica: Below Zero. You will have to gather a vast amount of raw materials to stay alive and succeed.  Among the most challenging to come by is lead, which is required in a number of recipes.

Lead

Several recipes demand the use of lead. It will be needed by gamers in order to craft essential items such as the Prawn Suit, as well as the pillars for constructing a solid base.

Unsurprisingly, it is among the most difficult construction components to locate. There are, however, some decent spots where you can obtain lead if you know where to look!

LOCATIONS
Main Crystal Caves
Glacial Connections
Thermal Spires
Twisty Bridges
East Arctic
Main Lilypad Islands
Shallow Twisty Bridges

The Sea Monkey

When gamers beat a beast in the game, it can drop Lead. The Sea Monkey is a mischievous dolphin-like species with violet and teal coloring. These will snatch tools from the user’s hands and then taunt you with the object.

They’ll take deployable objects from you as well before sailing away. The only manner to reclaim the objects is to slay the Sea Monkey and retrieve it.

  • After killing them, Sea Monkeys will drop not just your object, but also a variety of metals and ore, as well as resources such as Creepvine and Lead.
  • Take note that you must not depend entirely on Sea Monkeys for your lead supply, as you will need a large amount of them to complete your tasks!

Since March 2021, I've worn two hats at Spiel Times: a writer and a Managing Editor. In my writing role, I've earned recognition from Wikipedia and Nev Schulman (Catfish TV Show host) for my insightful analysis and engaging narrative style. I'm passionate about all things gaming, with a keen eye for detail and a knack for uncovering hidden secrets within games. My gaming journey began at a young age, captivated by titles like Resident Evil and Tomb Raider. Today, I enjoy exploring open-world RPGs and MMORPGs, consumed by their lore and crafting theories about their narratives. I'm also drawn to the suspenseful atmosphere of horror games and the intricate narratives of crime-themed titles, bringing a unique perspective to my writing. Beyond gaming, I have a fascination with anything unexplained and chilling, a passion that often spills over into my exploration of horror games. When I'm not engrossed in a virtual world, you can find me curled up and spending time with my adorable doggy sidekick, Teemo. As Managing Editor, I'm committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our writing team. I communicate openly with my team members, addressing any content-related issues and providing guidance to help them excel.
