Hearthstone: New Expansion Pack Coming in April
The next expansion pack for Hearthstone is globally launching this April 12. A few days ago, Blizzard dropped trailers about what players can expect to come once Hearthstone’s expansion pack releases. The expansion pack called the “Voyage to the Sunken City” takes players deep into the city of Zin-Azshari.
Hearthstone’s new expansion pack comes from World of Warcraft lore
Blizzard fans first dove into the city of Zin-Aszhari back in World of Warcraft’s Battle for Azeroth expansion. But this time, it’s Hearthstone players’ turn to experience and learn about the city themselves. Zin-Aszhari is the home of Queen Azshara and the powerful Naga. Watch the cinematic trailer below to learn more about what players can expect in this new expansion pack from Hearthstone.
The cinematic trailer opens with a submarine making its way deeper and deeper into the ocean. Further, into the trailer, we see the submarine finally arrive at the lost city of Zin-Aszhari after they reach the bottom of the ocean floor. But not long after they see the city, they are attacked by the menacing Naga.
This expansion pack adds 135 new cards to Hearthstone

The expansion pack adds 135 new cards that players can use and among these cards is a brand new minion type called Naga. Naga are unforgiving creatures that work best if you combine them with spellcasting since they are spell-focused. Additionally, these cards give players boosts if they are in a player’s hand and a spell is cast.

On the topic of creatures, there is a new keyword called ‘Colossal’ introduced as well in Hearthstone’s new expansion pack. If a creature has Colossal, it means they summon appendages on their main body even if a player wasn’t the one who played the card.

And finally, a new spell mechanic called Dredge is included in the expansion pack. This spell allows players to take a look at the bottom three cards in their deck and choose which one to play next.
