Is BDO App down? Incorrect password issue (March 2024)
Online banking and payment have made the world efficient and convenient. In this technology-based age, it’s impossible for people worldwide not to be familiar with sending money online or paying via e-money. Unfortunately, Banco De Oro’s BDO app seems to be down. Here are other ways you can try to send money if the application isn’t working.
Reset password still not working
As of March 15, 2024, the BDO App continues to experience issues. BDO, via its official Facebook page, suggests resetting passwords on its website using a browser. However, users still encounter login problems even after successfully resetting their passwords. BDO has not issued an official statement addressing this ongoing issue.

Other ways to send money
1. Access the official BDO website
If you can’t access the BDO Pay app, you may want to try opening your account using the BDO website. You can simply navigate to and log in to your BDO Online Banking account. From there, you can access the option to send money to your recipient.

- Before you can send the money, you’ll need the recipient’s details. These details include account name, account number, which bank you will transfer to, etc.
2. Try the BDO Pay app.
You might just be lucky if the BDO Pay app works just fine the second, third, or nth time you try it. Users can try to access the app and check whether the system’s up and running again. But if it’s not, then you might want to check the last resort we have.

3. If all BDO ways are down, you can try another e-wallet of yours.
If the worst case happens and all BDO options’ systems are down, you must wait until they are back up and ready to serve customers again. In the meantime, if you need to send the money right away, you can use another e-wallet or bank you have at the moment.
What is the BDO App?
Banco De Oro (BDO) is a Philippine banking company based in Mandaluyong in the National Capital Region (NCR). Aside from Automated Teller Machines (ATMs), BDO users can also maximize their electronic wallet through the BDO App. If you’re familiar with GCash and Maya, BDO Pay does similar functions.
You can create an account to access BDO’s e-wallet or link your BDO Credit or Debit Card. Using the BDO Pay app, users can pay their bills, scan to pay in stores, split bills with their friends, and, of course, send money to anyone.
This March 2024, numerous users raised their concerns on X (formerly Twitter), asking if the BDO App was down. They received a notification stating, “Unable to log in.” If the system seems down and you need to finish your online transactions, what else can you do?
