Match 1Â
Draft Analysis:

- The draft started with BLG banning Draven as a directed ban which was responded to by a quick Kennen ban from the side of R7. The second ban from the side of BLG was Sylas and without wasting a second R7 banned Annie.Â
- After the first three bans were done from both sides, BLG insta-locks Nautilus. In response to this meta pick, R7 picked up Xayah and Rakan combo in hopes of a strong bottom lane duo. BLG countered it with another strong bottom lane duo by picking Nami and Lucian. R7 picks Wukong and the second phase of the draft comes to an end.
- R7 had done their homework and banned Nidalee to avoid the strong combo with Nautilus and BLG responded with a Syndra ban as she is a strong character in the current meta. The final bans from R7 and BLG were Taliyah and Lissandra respectively.
- The final phase of the draft started with a flexible pick of Gragas from R7 whereas BLG went completely aggressive with Lee Sin and K’Sante as their last picks. R7 took time to lock in their last hero but made an excellent choice of Olaf. The draft seemed fairly even although BLG lacked the late-game AP damage.
Match Analysis:
First 15 minutes:

- The match started with a bit of poke going on both sides till 3 minutes. But as Xun came down to the bot lane for his first gank, he managed to pressure three players from R7 under the T2 tower, showing his dominance. This resulted in a massive cs difference between both the bottom laners with Lucian on BLG being on 25 cs compared to R7’s Xayah on 5.
- The first kill in the game came in as late as 8:40 minutes by Xun when 4 man BLG players rotated to the bot lane to pressure R7’s bottom lane duo.
- At 10 minute mark, BLG decides to pressure three men in the bottom again for the search of the first tower, although R7 decides not to fight this time, and Oddie and Mireu go for the Rift Herald. Both of the teams succeeded in their objectives but BLG came out on top with 2 kills and a bottom tower. At the same time, BLG Bin decimates R7 Bong in the top lane in a fair 1v1.
- To everyone’s surprise, R7 was able to secure the kill of the strongest BLG member, Bin in the top lane in a 1v1. Although, the game was still heavily in favor of BLG with no hope for R7. By the 15-minute mark, BLG had already built up a solid gold lead and taken down one tower in each of the side lanes making their presence in R7’s jungle even stronger.
Last 15 minutes:

- The game just kept snowballing in the favor of BLG, and finally, there was a team fight at 17 minutes, more of where R7 was trying to run away from BLG’s carnage but still lost 2 of their members.
- Just before Baron spawns on the map, BLG takes down two tiers and 2 towers, one in the middle and another in the top lane. BLG then goes on to tease R7 with the Baron as R7 tries to stay around the bushes to sneakily steal it. The plan turns out to be a massive failure as BLG leaves the Baron to turn on R7 and BLG Elk eats up R7’s players with a triple kill.Â
- 24 minutes in BLG decides to finish the game and takes down the blue worm Baron. They push the lanes with the Baron buff and on the way to their first victory in MSI, decimates R7 in a 26 minutes victory.
Winner: BLG
Match 2
Draft Analysis:

- The second game ban phase starts a similar ban from BLG as they ban Draven. Although, R7 banned Nautilus after they saw how strong BLG was on that pick in game 1. Furthermore, as the draft progresses BLG teases Xayah’s ban as a taunt. R7 further bans Annie as their second ban. The last bans from both sides were Vi and Lucian respectively.
- Xun lands his hand on Nidalee, and the draft already looks strong for BLG with just one character. R7 picks Rakan (AGAIN?) and Elise alongside it. While BLG goes with an old-school Jinx and Renekton pick. Furthermore, R7 picked K’Sante taking three heroes off of BLG’s previous draft.
- The last two bans from BLG were Zeri and Varus. In conclusion, 5 adcs were banned from the draft. On the other side, R7 bans Thresh and Tahm Kench.
- R7 picks Aphelios as an answer to Renekton as their first pick in the last phase. While BLG completes their draft with a strong Lulu and Jayce pick. Furthermore, R7 locked in Aurellion Sol as their last pick and surprised everyone.
Match Analysis:
First 15 minutes:

- The game starts with action as BLG starts invading R7’s bottom jungle. Although Xun successfully steals the blue buff but loses his life to Elise giving over the first kill. This kill advantage goes further as another gank by Oddie in the top lane to punish Bin for overstepping.
- The game is much more fast-paced compared to the previous one. Xun rotates down to the bottom lane for the first gank. Three members of BLG in the bottom can take down two players of R7. Although, R7 quickly responds with another kill on Bin in the top lane.
- Xun finds another solo kill on Oddie as the dragon spawns. Mireru on the other side is doing an amazing job on Aurellion and they can gank Yagao in the mid and find another kill. 12 minutes into the game and R7’s bottom duo decides to take on BLG’s bottom duo and ended up dying and losing the first tower of the match.
After 15 minutes:

- As soon as the game hits 15 minutes, 3 members of BLG can take down the second mid-tower of R7. In response, R7 stays silent and doesn’t have any answer to BLG’s aggression.
- The first team fight of the game breaks in at 17 minutes and R7 was shredded down to pieces. As a result, they lose their first high-ground tower in the middle lane.
- BLG plans to wrap it up quickly with a 4 man push in the bottom. They end up losing Yagao, but Elk manages to find a kill and trigger Jinx’s passive. In conclusion, they take down another inhibitor just as the Baron spawns.
- BLG plans to take an early Baron, with Oddie sitting in the bush to steal it AND HE DOES! Although this wasn’t enough to stop BLG’s carnage as they still pressure the lane after picking a kill of Bong.
- They pressure the last inhibitor of R7 in the top lane, where Elk finds a kill and turns into an absolute monster by picking off a quadra kill and leading BLG to their second victory.

Winner: BLGÂ
Final Score: 2-0 (BLG)
