League of Legends: Two New Dragons Coming Pre-Season 2022
Season 12 of League of Legends is approaching, which means Riot Games will be bringing a few new intriguing features to play soon. There will be two new dragons in League of Legends Preseason 2022 that will emerge during games!
Technochemical Dragon
- BUFF: This allows you to deal more damage to opponents that have more HP than your champion (up to 5 percent damage per stack).
- DRAGON’s SOUL: Teammates gain an upgrade when they acquire the Techno-Chemical Dragon Soul, granting them a short moment of life after death.
- TERRAIN: Camouflage zones are created in fixed locations. Teammates will be invisible when inside these zones while enemies will be revealed.
Hextech Dragon
- BUFF: The team that drops the final blow gains ATK and skill speed (5 skill speed and 5 percent attack speed per stack).
- DRAGON’s SOUL: When a team obtains the Hextech Dragon Soul, they acquire a special ability that allows them to add a chained beam to their attacks and abilities, slowing their opponents. The cooldown for this ability is moderate.
- TERRAIN: Pairs of hextech portals will emerge across the map, enabling champions to transport between linked spots quickly. Hextech Portals activate after a quick channeling period (which can be disrupted by stuns and damage) and transport the gamer across the map to the respective hextech portal.
Objective Bounties
The new Objective Bounty will be introduced in Preseason 2022, which will only unlock when a team has fallen far enough behind and will be emphasized on both teams’ minimaps. The reward gold will be divided among all members of the losing side if they take an active objective.
When they first become active, Objective Bounties will have a 15-second countdown, followed by a 15-second lingering period. If the losing squad is still fighting an effective Objective Bounty, the time limit can be prolonged.
