League of Legends: Update 11.24b, Early Notes

When we believed there was nothing else for League Legends this year, the developers decided to surprise us by announcing the LOL 11.24b patch, which will be available very soon. The patch will concentrate on all of the issues that developers don’t want to wait until after the holidays to fix. 11.24b preview is on the way.

RELEASE DATE

  • Wednesday, December 15, 2021.
  • Server Maintenance at 6 am EST returning around 9 am EST.
    • We’ve got a lot more changes planned for next year than the ones in this patch, but they’ll be in 12.1 instead.

  • Kai’Sa
  • Varus
  • Pyke

Nerfs 
  • Dr. Mundo
  • Kassadin
  • Lux
  • Vayne
  • Talon (Jungle)

Other Notes:

  • Before the end of the 2021 break, the patch will focus on balancing the game. As a result, a few but considerable adjustments are likely.
  • Riot is rolling back some of Gwen’s nerfs from prior updates.
  • The Nerf to Talon Jungle position appears to be rather intriguing. He has far too much power.
  • The newest Inspiration Keystone appears to be doing better than the developers anticipated. The amount of Gold will be adjusted.

New skins

  • These are the first skins that have been announced for future updates.
  • Both Elderwood skins for Gnar and Rek’Sai are Epic, thus they’ll cost 1350 Rp when they’re released.
  • We’re also getting the first of a new set of skins based on the Arcane animated show. Fireflight Ekko is present on this occasion. We don’t know if this skin will be available for free, like other Arcane cosmetics, or if it will have to be purchased.
