Mortal Kombat Movie Becomes Brutal And R-Rated
Scriptwriter Greg Russo has confirmed that the new Mortal Kombat movie in the United States will receive an R-rating. This means that you can only watch the movie if you are 17 years and older. However, that also means that this movie is going to be brutal.
Since it's already been stated by other members of the team, I'm gonna put this one to bed. MK WILL be R-Rated and for the first time EVER, FATALITIES will FINALLY be on the big screen (and no I'm not gonna say which ones) You'll just have to wait for the movie & see!!! 😉 pic.twitter.com/aVTewH4t28

This also means for Mortal Kombat fans that it will create the iconic fatalities in the movie. Unfortunately, Greg Russo gave no indication of what the included fatalities are. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and New Line Cinema will release Mortal Kombat in cinemas around March 2021.
