X (Twitter) Experiment
This isn’t MrBeast‘s first foray into outlandish generosity. The YouTube kingpin is known for his extravagant stunts and giveaways. He even bought his own island. His latest act continues this tradition, proving that his success hasn’t dimmed his love for giving back.
On January 19th, 2024, MrBeast reuploaded his 16-minute video titled “$1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car!!!” on X. This wasn’t just any video, though.
$1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car!!!
I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I’m reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week ❤️ pic.twitter.com/amSSmddFht

It was a deliberate experiment to see how much revenue he could generate on the platform compared to YouTube, where he typically reigns supreme.
The result?
The wait was finally over on January 22nd when MrBeast revealed the verdict. According to his screenshot of X’s analytics, the video garnered over 156 million impressions, 5 million engagements, and a whopping $263,655 in ad revenue.
MY FIRST X VIDEO MADE OVER $250,000! 😲
But it’s a bit of a facade. Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you’d experience pic.twitter.com/nViVpZbWBb

After his X experiment proved the platform’s monetization potential, MrBeast, true to his philanthropic form, decided to share the wealth. Ten lucky fans would win $25,000 each simply by subscribing to his X account and retweeting his post.
