NBA: Kyrie Irving’s 60-Point Outburst Against Orlando

March 15, 2022 – Kyrie “Uncle Drew” Irving went absolutely crazy and recorded a career-high 60 points against the Orlando Magic.

Kyrie recorded another excellent game after putting up 50 points just a few days back (March 9) against the Hornets. He played his 21st game this season in an outstanding fashion.

Before the second half, Irving already tallied 41 points while shooting 14 for 19 (73.7%) from the field. He was a monster in that outing and was an unstoppable force down the stretch.

With his 60-point performance, the Nets blew the Magic, 150-108.

Kevin Durant also helped the Nets team with 19 points. Additionally, 5 more Nets players scored more than 10 points – Brown (10), Drummond (10), Edwards (14), Claxton (12), Mills (15).

Cole Anthony led the Magic with 19 points, while Franz Wagner, Moritz Wagner, and Wendell Carter Jr., had 16, 17, and 18 points, respectively.

Brooklyn is still on the 8th seed (36-33), while Orlando Magic is now dead last on the eastern conference (18-52).

Kyrie Irving or Uncle Drew is currently averaging 27.7 points, 5.3 assists, and 4.7 rebounds a night for the Brooklyn Nets. They are currently on a 4 game winning streak, with him and Durant spearheading the Nets.

Irving missed most of the games this season, especially home games due to the rules implemented by the mayor of New York City towards unvaccinated persons. Brooklyn needs both Irving and Durant to play if they want to catch that elusive championship trophy. They’re a terrifyingly great team when complete and healthy. That being said, top teams in the East shouldn’t sleep on this squad!
