There’s nothing that puts many fans’ heart at sails than the news of a new live-anime Netflix One Piece adaptation. The reason why the fans are seemingly not terrified enough of this is that Eiichiro Oda himself is behind its production. The show recently shared its first poster.

- Now the history of Anime Live Action adaptations has been nominated crap by the fandoms. Death Note is perhaps the leading one at that. Anime fans can even gallop Japanese live-actions of the said Manga series.
But it seems true fans have an aching heart against the western gullibility to adapt their beloved franchise into a live-action scale.
Netflix One Piece is one such live-action adaptation that has stirred much public opinion. Ranging from outright hate to indomitable faith in Oda’s guidance.
Why the Netflix One Piece Release is not to be taken lightly
Now before the Netflix One Piece series got its greenlit, it makes sense that the series had to pass through the cunning eyes of the creator himself. Seeing how the initiative was taken from the West and Netflix primarily, Oda may have been prompted to take a shot.Â
It seems Oda understands the possibility of disappointment when fans meet their favorite series’ live-action adaptation. As such his supervision is sure to add the finer elements of the story to this new Netflix Endeavor.

Coming to the main point of the new poster, yes. Netflix One Piece has officially revealed its first poster. This poster sees a joyous Luffy stretching his hands across the Sea. In what seems to be a poster of the initial arcs of the story, we see Sanji, Nami, Luffy, Ussop, and Zoro from left to right respectively. The official release date is August 31, 2023.
Where this scene may resonate most with anime fans
Now the particular scene is nothing distant to Anime fans. We have seen this pose enough times, but primarily in Alabasta Saga. One that fans will recall is the early Straw Hats departure from the kingdom of Alabasta and Vivi Nefertari.
The kingdom’s esteemed princess who also joined Luffy and his friends in their fight against the criminal mastermind Crocodile.
Toei Animation’s One Piece Anime has already set a high enough standard as it is. Most fans are wary that the Netflix One Piece adaptation could go south very easily. It’s just one mistake and the pebbles would fall one over the other.

Directed by showrunners Matt Owens and Steven Maeda, the anime has been in work ever since 2017. After what seems to be an arduous battle the series finally seems to be on the forefront of release.

But some fans have not taken an inkling of the poster yet. Pointing out certain mistakes, including how Luffy is wearing a boot/shoe and not his sandals. And how Usopp looks almost naked.
