The program management of JTBC K-909 released an official statement to the Korean media agency No Cut News, stating that they helped the artists get off the stage as soon as the fire broke out. Following this, they extinguished, ventilated, and reorganized the filming site. They also asked the audience if anyone was required to leave the premise, but nobody made that request.
- They then decided to resume the filming with the agreement of everyone present. JTBC also clarified that there weren’t any injuries to anyone. The management inquired if anyone was uncomfortable, and one of the audience raised their hand, so they advised them to go home. However, the audience member insisted on staying, so the production facilitated them to continue watching.

A That’s awful! I hope everyone’s really ok and safe both mentally and physically. It’s a stressful situation for sure. I hope everyone takes the time they need to take a breath from this and recover. This is just sad and shouldn’t have happened in the first place.
