All good things must come to an end, and the final episode of Peacemaker is now upon us. The series, starring John Cena, continues after the events of The Suicide Squad (2021). The show received a lot of praise for its dialogue, acting, comedy, and direction. Being one of the first successful DCEU shows brings a lot of promise to the franchise’s future.
The Peacemaker finale launched on February 17 on HBO Max. Subscribers could begin watching it as early as 3:01 AM Eastern Time.
The final episode received a lot of positive attention for bringing a solid finale for its season-long plot. It’s showed more personality and character development for Peacemaker. It also progressed the Project: Butterfly plotline. It also featured some big cameos, leaving many DC Extended Universe fans excited for more.
There was also an announcement that the show would continue for a second season. There hasn’t been any set date yet because James Gunn is already busy working on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, while John Cena will also likely have some projects in the pipeline. However, with the announcement, we’ll likely see the continuation sooner rather than later.
