A new leak regarding Sony’s PlayStation Plus has fans riled up. The leak is in regard to the free games line-up of PS Plus for September. A post on the Dealabs platform has revealed that September’s freebies will include games such as Hitman 2, Predator: Hunting Grounds, and Overcooked! All You Can Eat. Dealabs has also accurately leaked PS Plus game releases in the past.
UPDATE (09/01 – 11:30 am EST): The leak was right and we have the confirmed games right here –
- Hitman 2 features Agent 47, the “world’s most creative assassin” where players will have to “travel the globe and track your targets across exotic sandbox locations.” Predator: Hunting Grounds is based on the Predator movie series, and features man versus Predator in an asymmetrical multiplayer shooter, where players can “hunt or be hunted.”
- Overcooked! All You Can Eat is a remaster bundle of the first two games, Overcooked! And Overcooked 2! There will also be additional content in the new release. A co-op cooking game that now features cross-play, up to 4 players must prepare, cook and serve customers. The newly remastered version includes new accessibility options, assist mode, more than 200 levels with 7 new levels, 3 new chefs, new achievements, and rewards. The new version also features faster loading times and 4K in 60 fps when it is possible.
Last Wednesday of the Month
Usually, the upcoming months’ games are revealed on the “last Wednesday of the month.” But August ends on a Tuesday, and players have not been informed about the PS selection yet. Players can expect the announcement on Wednesday, the 1st of September, but the leak brings good news while they wait longer than usual.
Meanwhile, the PS Plus free games for August are still available. Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville and Tennis World Tour 2 is accessible to players with PS 4 and Ps 5, but Hunter’s Arena: Legends is a “PlayStation 5 bonus game.”
While the official confirmation is awaited, we can only hope that Dealabs has got it right again!
