Pokemon Go August 2020 – Spotlight Hours
Every Tuesday at 6 pm, your local time, you’ll encounter a different pokemon with special bonuses. Following are the details –
- On August 4, Horsea will be in the spotlight. You will earn twice the Candy for catching a Pokemon during that time
- On August 11, Sableye will be in the spotlight. You will earn twice the Candy for transferring a Pokemon during that time
- On August 18, Venipede will be in the spotlight. You will earn twice the XP for evolving a Pokemon during that time
- On August 25, Geodude will be in the spotlight. You will earn twice the Stardust for catching a Pokemon during that time
Pokemon Go August 2020 – Dragon Week, Complete Details
Till August 7, 1 pm PDT (GMT -7), you will experience the Pokemon Go Dragon Week. Many Dragon-type Pokemon will be available for an encounter, from Gible to Alolan Exeggutor. Plus, the bonus, Rayquaza will be in five-star raids. There will be a special Timed Research available during this week.
BONUS: If you’re lucky enough, you might encounter a Shiny Deino!
Pokemon Go August 2020 – Enigma Week, Complete Details
From August 7, 1 pm PDT to August 14, 1 pm PDT (GMT -7), you’ll encounter several Pokemon like Elgyem and Deoxys. Deoxys will be in five-star raids.
BONUS: If you’re lucky enough, you might encounter a Shiny Deoxys! Or, even a Shiny Staryu!
Pokemon Go August 2020 – Unova Week, Complete Details
Finally, from August 14, 1 pm PDT to August 21, 1 pm PDT (GMT -7), for the first time ever, Sewaddle, Cottonee, Emolga, and Bouffalant Pokemon will be appearing for encounters. Genesect will be in five-star raids.
BONUS: If you’re lucky enough, you might encounter a Shiny Genesect! Or, you can even encounter a Shiny Roggenrola!
