Pokemon Go: Swirlix Evolution Guide
Let’s take a look at how to evolve Swirlix into Slurpuff in this new Pokemon Go Guide!
Swirlix can evolve into Slurpuff in other Pokemon titles if it was traded while carrying a Whipped Dream. Unfortunately, this object is not present in Pokemon GO, leaving some trainers wondering how to evolve Swirlix.
Swirlix Evolution
- The first step in evolving Swirlix is for trainers to designate it as their buddy Pokemon.
- To do so, go to the Buddy menu and navigate to the bottom. This allows users to swap out their present buddy for Swirlix.

- Swirlix, unlike other Pokemon with buddy-related progressions in Pokemon GO, will not involve any steps. Rather, gamers will have to supply their Pokemon with 25 different types of treats. These treats could be anything, but they all have the same impact on the evolution progress.
- After feeding Swirlix 25 treats, trainers should inspect the Pokemon’s menu to see whether the evolve option is open. If gamers have followed the steps properly, the evolution should take 50 Swirlix candies to complete.
- Trainers should be informed that the treat tally only applies to one Swirlix at a time.
Swirlix Candies
- Swirlix candies are gained by walking with Swirlix, the player’s buddy Pokemon, or capturing more Swirlix.
- The recent Luminous Legends X event is the perfect chance to grab Swirlix and gather Swirlix candies for the evolution and long-term power-ups!
- For the rest of the course, which runs from 4th of May (10:00AM) to 17th of May (local time) Swirlix will be one of the boosted wild Pokemon spawns. After the occasion, gamers will still be able to find it, but it will be much less common.
