Poppy Playtime Chapter 2: Who is Daisy?
Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 introduced lots of new toys to players. And one of these toys is the flower called Daisy. So who exactly is Daisy in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2? Read on to find out more about this toy slash experiment.
Daisy is introduced as a collectible in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2
While exploring Playtime Co., players can pick up various collectibles throughout the areas they can explore in the toy factory. One of these collectibles is Daisy (Experiment 814), a large flower with white petals. Moreover, she resembles the smiling faces of other toys as she has this eerie and at the same time warm smile across her face.
But aside from being a collectible, Daisy doesn’t appear as a living toy in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2. A note wherein a marionette version of Daisy is rejected explains that she is “too scary for young children”. Her marionette version is also said to be the original toy in Bunzo Bunny’s game but she makes children cry. So that would explain why a toy like Bunzo is the one facilitating the Musical Memory game.

Moreover, the information provided by the game about Daisy is her original version being Sunni Buddi. Her blueprint design is also in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2 and she shows up a couple of times on the posters around Playtime Co. Toy Factory.
Players also pick up Daisy’s plaque from Elliot Ludwig’s office but she does not have a bigger role in Chapter 2. Maybe players will get to see more of Daisy in the next chapter of Poppy Playtime. For now, Daisy and her identity remain a mystery.

Aside from being a collectible, Daisy is also on a few posters players can come across in Playtime Co. One of her posters is with PJ Pug-A-Pillar, wherein both toys are cuddled up with each other. Her next poster is a recycling poster where her eyes look similar to Mommy Long Legs’.

Daisy also has a cutout somewhere in the toy factory which you can press to hear her voice. But other than that, Daisy does not show up in Chapter 2.

When is Poppy Playtime’s third chapter releasing?
For Chapter 3, there is no definite date yet for its release. However, it may release in early 2023 or earlier given its popularity nowadays. In the meantime, there is a movie adaptation coming for Poppy Playtime so that may release ahead of Chapter 3.
Poppy Playtime Chapter 1 is free to download and play from Steam. As for Chapter 2 and future installments, it is available for players by purchasing the DLCs for the game.
