Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 – What To Expect + All Possible Bosses, Toy Appearances

With the success of the first two chapters of Poppy Playtime, fans are now left wanting more. More of the thrill and jump scares that Poppy Playtime has to offer. Though there is no official release for a third chapter yet, we can assume that it will be out early next year (2023). With that, what can expect in Poppy Playtime Chapter 3?

What To Expect in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3

The first two chapters are just part of a bigger story. Chapter 2 ended with an outstanding cliffhanger with Poppy wanting The Player to stay in Playtime co. Then, it gets even more terrifying when Poppy suddenly gets cut off during her speech. As the protagonist seems to have crashed his train, a sign with “PLAYCARE” on it can be seen afterward.

• First, Chapter 3 could be larger than the first two which means more horrifying toys and more mind-boggling puzzles to come.
• Second, as we go deeper into the factory, we might finally see “Playcare” or “The Orphanage”, where the supposed orphans were kept during the height of Playtime co.’s experiments. It would be safe to say that the next chapter could be about the children including Baby Long Legs, who we will be talking about later on.

All Possible Bosses and Playtime Toys Appearance in Chapter 3

• Huggy Wuggy

Nobody ever saw Huggy Wuggy get dragged by the same long mechanical claw that pulled Mommy Long Legs and other toys who succumbed to death in chapter 2. This brings us to the question, is Huggy Wuggy still alive? Is he still out there, lurking in the vicinity of Playtime co. factory?

• Kissy Missy

While the female counterpart of Huggy Wuggy, Kissy Missy, appeared to be friendly and docile to the protagonist, it is still not an assurance if Kissy will stay that way when Chapter 3 comes. Since the game began, all of the toys were friendly at first but turned feral later on. Everyone is rooting for the friendly pink toy and hopefully, we get to see her again very soon.

• Daddy Long Legs and Baby Long Legs

A poster featuring Mommy Long Legs and family can be seen somewhere in Chapter 2. Although Mommy Long Legs is long gone, the two other members are yet to have their introduction in the game. Other players have also assumed that they saw Baby Long Legs in the playground during PJ-Pug-A-Pillar’s mini-game. Will we finally see them in Chapter 3?

• Experiment 1006/ The Prototype

After Mommy Long Legs’ brutal demise to conclude chapter 2, a mysterious mechanical hand (or claw) reached out to pull Mommy’s remains. If you remember, Mommy groaned and said, “What have you done?! He’ll make me part of him!”

Some theories suggest that Mommy Long Legs’ final words could only mean one thing. It means that something is hiding beneath the surface of Playtime co. factory which is slowly building itself up from scratch. Could it be the mysterious Experiment 1006 (also known as The Prototype)? We shall see in chapter 3 if this is really true.

• Poppy

Playtime co.’s franchise toy is yet to show her real nature. She started as innocent, helpful, and friendly, but is she really all that?

In the final scenes of the second chapter, Poppy didn’t allow the protagonist to leave the factory. Is it just me or does there seems something off with Poppy? What could she possibly want with The Player?
