Resident Evil 2 New Mode: “The Ghost Survivors” Announced

At today’s special Resident Evil 2 broadcast event held in Tokyo, the developers’ panel revealed a new content update mode for the game called “The Ghost Survivors”.

The Ghost Survivors will be a free content update that will be released as an update post-launch. The game mode will allow players to live the horror experience as multiple characters, some of which are Robert Kendo, a USS Member and Katherine, the mayor’s daughter. Surprisingly, the characters from the main game are not yet confirmed as playable. THe mode will feature randomised elements, an in-game shop without microtransactions but points which can be earned in-game. Additionally, the mode is said to be very replayable. It might be a random/rogue mode but nothing is certain at the moment. No particular date has been mentioned as of now.
