Barbie and Gerald were performing together in a Star Magic event at the 2023 Shukran Festival in Dubai. Both are considered to be two of the biggest Kapamilya stars today, with each being known as a talented TV entertainer. However, fans and netizens can’t help but notice Gerald Anderson’s gestures toward Barbie during their live performances. Should Julia Barretto, Gerald’s current girlfriend, be alarmed by the now-viral photo?
Fans are telling Julia Barretto to “watch out”
The internet has won again after the intriguing Barbie and Gerald viral photo that has made rounds on Instagram and TikTok. It all started with Gerald seemingly having that “look” after being captivated by Barbie Imperial’s beauty. Although, we can’t blame the former Pinoy Big Brother winner for doing so.
Because of that, the comments section is now filled with extremely hilarious and bizarre thoughts, with most of the netizens telling Julia Barretto to keep an eye on Gerald and Barbie since both actors have an uncanny on-screen chemistry. Especially since Barbie just got off from heartbreak after parting ways with Diego Loyzaga last year, there’s no denying the 25-year-old actress looks like a great partner for Gerald, for TV shows at least.
Most of them are also commenting, “Kabahan ka na Julia” (“Be alarmed now, Julia”), prompting a series of witty and funny reactions from everyone who has seen the viral picture. Gerald, who has been known to “rizz” his leading ladies in the past, makes everything sound plausible. Some also think that the Gerald and Julia love team could be the next celebrity couple to split in 2023, right after the phenomenal Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla breakup. Hopefully, that does not happen.
It’s also worth remembering that Gerald Anderson has done many controversial things in the past. That includes allegedly cheating on Bea Alonzo with his current partner, Julia Barretto. Back in 2021, the rumored breakup between Gerald and Bea was huge news in the Philippine television industry. It even became more sensational after Anderson revealed a few months later that he had been dating the young Barretto.

Gerald and Julia, despite the backlash and negative comments, went on with their lives and are still together now. Bea, on to other hand, is now engaged with Dominique Roque.
