Sayu and Yoimiya – All You Need To Know (Genshin Impact)
Characters like Sayu and Yoimiya were leaked several weeks after the launch of Genshin Impact. MiHoYo has now formally confirmed both of these Inazuma characters, including information on their profiles, weapons, and release dates!
Who Is Sayu?
Sayu is a 4★ character who utilizes an Anemo Vision and belongs to the Nyctereutes Minor Constellation. Furthermore, Sayu’s concept is inspired by the Tanuki, a morphing raccoon-like critter from Japanese folktales.
Sayu might be a Sword user based on her illustrations and ninja profile, but it has yet to be verified. There have been speculations that Sayu wields a Claymore, but it’s highly doubtful for a ninja to wield such a powerful weapon.
Are you in a hurry to find Sayu? She is usually hiding in the trees in the afternoons. I have my own ways of finding her, so let me know if you need help. —Kamisato Ayato

Who is Yoimiya?
Yoimiya is a sweetheart who enjoys playing simple games with kids and accompanying them on their quest for toys. She also loves conversing with everyone and expressing her seemingly limitless ideas and views.
Yoimiya’s concept is based on Edo-period firecracker makers. Yoimiya’s fireworks might last a few seconds, but they leave an indelible impression on people’s minds, and she assumes that the beauty of the firecrackers shows is due to everyone’s participation.

Release Date
On July 21, 2021, Patch 1.7 with Yoimiya and Sayu banners will be released if the 6-week update timeline is maintained.
Version 1.7 will include Yoimiya and Sayu, and also Ayaka and the Inazuma area (or a portion of it). MiHoYo will not be hyping them now if this wasn’t all but officially confirmed. Furthermore, miHoYo unveiled Yoimiya and Sayu just as data miners were about to leak version 1.7, which is currently in Beta.
