Shiny Surskit Pokemon Go Spotlight Hour – Complete Guide
Surskit will appear in the wild at a higher rate than usual on March 23, and you’ll get twice as many experience points for catching them.
Spotlight Hour
- Surskit, a cute Gen III ‘mon, will be featured in the Spotlight Hour on March 23. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 7 p.m. Make sure to mark your calendars for the limited-time celebration, which is based on local time!
- Surskit is a Bug and Water-type Pokemon from the Pokemon 3rd Generation. There is only one evolution for it. Surskit can be evolved into Masquerain in Pokemon Go with the help of 50 Surskit Candy.
Use your Lucky Egg!
- Remember to utilize a Lucky Egg to earn even more experience points when catching Pokemon for a limited time if you want to make the most of this event.

- That is, for 30 minutes, a Lucky Egg doubles the number of experience points you earn for in-game actions and this bonus stacks with the experience point bonus in this Spotlight Hour event!
- Make sure that you use an Incense to entice more wild Pokemon to your location for a limited time by activating it. This means you’ll have more Pokemon to catch and more chances to earn bonus experience points!
Shiny Surskit?
Is it possible that Surskit will finally get its Shiny debut now that Niantic has given the Gen III ‘mon its own Spotlight Hour? The answer is, unfortunately, no. Despite the fact that it was added in 2018, the Water/ Bug-type still lacks a rare alternate variant.
When the Ruby & Sapphire creature will get its secondary form is anyone’s guess. However, as of this writing, we can confirm that the Hoenn creature will not be getting its much-desired alternate colors in Pokemon Go.
