French’s had previously launched a mustard-flavored ice cream and mustard-flavored donuts. Now, the same flavor finds its way into Skittles as an addition to the iconic candy’s wide range of fruit flavors. The limited edition Skittles flavor is called the Classic Yellow® Mustard tang.
Valda Coryat, the North America VP of Marketing for McCormick & Company, expressed excitement about the collaboration. She said they had to outdo themselves this year for the yellow holiday on August 5.
How to Buy it and Its Cost
Even if the idea of mustard-flavored Skittles scares your taste buds, it’s hard not to wonder what the bizarre candy would taste like. Unfortunately, the limited edition French’s Mustard Skittles is unavailable in retail stores. Fret not; there are two different ways to get your hands on them.
The first method is through an online sweepstakes hosted on French’s website. Starting from the announcement and running up until National Mustard Day on August 5, you can participate in the sweepstakes for a chance to win a pack of French’s Mustard Skittles.
Remember that you must be a US citizen and above 18 years of age to participate in the sweepstakes. Furthermore, given that the initiative will generate a lot of interest, luck is a significant factor in getting your hands on the limited edition Skittles.

What is the Mustard Mobile Map?
As a part of the promotion for the French’s Mustard Skittles and National Mustard Day, the condiment company will go on a tour in a bright yellow vintage bus called the Mustard Mobile.
The Mustard Mobile will make its way through three major cities:
- July 31: Atlanta, Georgia (Ponce City Market located at 675 North Avenue from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
- August 2: Washington D.C. (City Center located at 825 10th St. from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
- August 5: New York City (Hudson River Park located at 555 12th Ave. from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.)
At these events, visitors will have the opportunity to try the mustard-flavored Skittles firsthand. Fans could also win some exclusive limited-edition merchandise from French’s.
