Sniper Elite 5: Release Date, Platforms, and More
A new trailer for Sniper Elite 5 just dropped and finally, eager fans now have a release date. Sniper Elite 5 is releasing on May 26 and from the trailer alone, the game looks more than promising.

In Sniper Elite 5, Karl Fairburne goes up against Nazis
Players find themselves in 1944 France as Karl Fairburne aims to uncover a Nazi operation, Project Kraken. The game promises enhanced kill cams as you shoot your way through larger and better maps. Additionally, a new feature is being introduced to the Sniper Elite series.
As you fight your way against Nazis, you are vulnerable to invasion from other players. This invasion feature allows other players to snipe and eliminate you while you are pre-occupied with uncovering the Nazis’ secret ploy. Moreover, invasions occur while you are in single-player mode, so it adds tension to the game since you have to be on the lookout for enemy players lurking in the shadows.

Pre-ordering Sniper Elite 5 gives players a new weapon and an additional mission
Players who pre-order the game get another mission called Wolf Mountain. In this mission, you search and infiltrate Hitler’s secret hideout in the Bavarian Alps. Pre-orders also come with the P.1938, a suppressed pistol that gives you an extra boost in silently taking out your enemies. If players choose to get the Deluxe Version of the game, they get these content as well as the Season Pass.
The Season Pass contains the following:
- Campaign Missions x2
- Weapon skin packs x2
- Character Packs x2
- Weapon Packs x6
Sniper Elite 5’s release date is on May 26, 2022. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
