Sons of the Forest: Machete Location and Uses

Right after the launch, Sons of the Forest became an instant hit. The survival horror video game is the sequel to the popular game, The Forest. In this game, players find themselves stranded in a mysterious forest filled with dangerous mutants and cannibals, and must use their wits and skills to survive. One of the most essential tools for survival in the forest is the machete, a large cutting tool that can be used for a variety of tasks, from chopping down trees to defending against hostile enemies. In this article, we will explore the different locations where players can find a machete in Sons of the Forest and the various uses for this essential tool.

Sons of the Forest Machete and where to find it

The machete is one of the easiest weapons to find in Sons of the Forest. It is located in the northernmost part of the map. It can be seen somewhere on the north beach. See photos below for easier understanding.

Once there, just keep looking until you see a deflated lifeboat that happens to be near a couple of camping tents with a corpse. The machete is just struck to the deflated lifeboat up for grabs to anyone who seeks its power.

Machete: Quick, light, and cunning

As easy as it is to find, the machete is relatively very easy to use. Quick attacks can be made using this weapon as it is fairly light compared to guns, most specifically the shotgun. It is indeed one of the best weapons in Sons of the Forest as you can attack a cannibal or mutant with continuous blows with a machete. In the video below by YouTuber by SV GAMING, they show how effective a machete is even against a horde of cannibals, including a boss.
