Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 4 breakdown: Has Nate made amends?

Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 4 Nate

TV’s favorite football manager Ted Lasso is back in Season 3’s fourth episode, where he faces new challenges both on and off the pitch. The episode’s title “Big Week” refers to AFC Richmond’s first game against West Ham United. The club is now led by Nate, who used to be an assistant at AFC Richmond under the wing of Ted Lasso.

On Wednesday’s episode 4 of Ted Lasso Season 3, Nathan tries to apologize to Ted twice. The first time is in an elevator at London Stadium before the game against West Ham United, but they’re interrupted by Rupert. The second time is after Richmond loses the match, and Nate is caught on camera tearing Ted’s “Believe” sign. Let’s recap the events from the Apple TV+ show.

Will Nate redeem himself in Ted Lasso Season 3 after the fourth episode?

Nate’s surprising betrayal at the end of the second season shocked many viewers of the show, including the actor who plays him, Nick Mohammed. He hasn’t changed much in the first part of this season, from insulting people at press conferences to trying too hard to impress the hostess at a restaurant.

However, it’s clear from this episode that he has things he wants to talk about but can’t process. Nate’s tactical mind is not in doubt, as he immediately changes tactics after his team scores a goal against Richmond.

Although Nate’s actions show he may not be completely under Rupert’s influence, his character has a complicated path ahead. It’s not clear whether he will get a redemption arc or not, as his character is complex. Nate has unfinished business with Ted, and there is a place of catharsis for him, but whether he is fully forgiven or not remains to be seen.

Recapping other significant events from Ted Lasso S03E04

Sassy thinks Ted is a “mess,” so she won’t go on a proper date with him. Rebecca agrees, but she likes Ted’s messiness. Later, Ted calls Michelle and tells her he’s upset about her relationship with Dr. Jacob.

Rebecca finds out that Rupert is cheating on her with Ms. Kakes and confronts him. Jamie starts his thrice-daily training sessions with Roy and gets more enthusiastic as the day goes on.

Also, Jack, a venture capitalist, makes her debut and backs Keeley’s PR firm. Shandy causes trouble by changing Bantr’s slogan without consulting Keeley, and she also expresses interest in Jamie.

Taking a look at Ted Lasso Season 3 so far

Ted Lasso was originally planned for three seasons, but it’s uncertain if the third season will be the last. The story of Richmond’s rise is more captivating than its fall, and the third season promises a thrilling title run, aided by Zava’s eccentric style.

Zava’s unconventional football style made AFC Richmond’s players feel unbeatable. The game against West Ham will have a significant impact on the team’s future in the second half of the season. Despite the doubts about Richmond’s chances, Ted Lasso Season 3 Episode 4 has been quite unpredictable.
