Season 4 will likely pick up where Season 3 left off. Eric Kripke stated that Season 4 will focus on the struggle between Homelander and Butcher for control over Ryan. He compared their relationship to famous pairs like Batman and The Joker or Holmes and Moriarty. The stakes rise as Ryan ages, exposing surprising connections between the two rivals. Kripke also hinted at a major focus on the emergence of Victoria Neuman, a dangerous supe with deadly superpowers who is a strong figure in the White House and a danger to both Vought and The Boys.
