The Last of Us Part 2 Has Gone Gold
Creative Director Neil Druckmann announced on Instagram that The Last of Us Part 2 has gone gold.
Neil shared three short video clips of him thanking all the people involved in making the game, the audience that supported Naughty Dog throughout the years, and all the fans who’re eagerly waiting for the sequel.
For the uninitiated, when a game goes gold, a company burns the first disc copies of the game. This means the game is finally complete and ready to be shipped. Of course, the team will still continue to fix bugs, problems, and troubleshoot wherever required.

The Last of Us Part II arrives for the PS4 on June 19. You can pre-order the game right now, be it a physical copy or a digital one.
