Volition has been hard at work on the next entry of the open-world crime drama series-Saints Row for a long time now.
However, according to a prominent resetera member, Deep Silver’s parent company Embracer Group has delayed both of its AAA titles ( One of them is the next Saints Row game) planned for this fiscal year to the next fiscal year which ends in March 2022.
The next Saints Row game and one other AAA release have been (quietly) delayed until Embracer Group's next fiscal year, which starts on April 1st, 2021 and ends on March 31st, 2022.
Starting that fiscal year, the group will release at least one AAA game every 12 months. pic.twitter.com/iqJELovZMG

No further information was provided. One should note that this rumored Saints Row game hasn’t been officially been announced so we should take this with a grain of salt.
The last mainline entry in the Saints Row franchise, Saints Row 4 released way back in 2013, while Saints Row: The Third is set to release a remastered version on PS4 & Xbox One on May 22, 2020.
