How to obtain Tusk of Monoceros Caeli
Only available as a possible reward in The Golden House after defeating Childe at level 70 or higher.
Who is Childe?
Tartaglia, also known as “Childe,” is a Fatui member. You first meet him during the “Rite of Descension” quest in Genshin Impact. You can now get him via a Wish banner, thanks to the version 1.1 update. You’ll also face him as part of a quest called “A New Star Approaches.”
How do I beat him?
After you’ve completed “A New Star Approaches,” Childe/Tartaglia becomes a weekly boss. Indeed, he is one of Genshin Impact’s most difficult challenges, alongside Stormterror and Andrius. Childe’s abilities, on the other hand, are so unpredictable that you’ll want to be prepared for anything he throws at you.
Childe can switch between ranged and melee attacks in an instant and fights with two elements: Hydro and Electro, then both. The entire battle is a long endurance test, so Elemental RES potions and DEF food are recommended. Simply take it slowly. If you prioritize evasion and mitigation over raw damage, you’ll eventually run out of resources. Pay attention to his movements and wait for an opening from his more powerful attacks.
Team Composition
When it comes to team building, a healer of some sort is a must. Shields are also a good idea. Cryo characters such as Qiqi and Diona should be able to assist the team by inflicting Freeze during the Hydro phases while also providing heals and shields. If you go this route, a Geo character like Traveller can deal decent damage with Shatter, but now is the time for a well-built Noelle to shine with shields and heals.
