Twitter user posts alleged leak of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Gameplay Footage

The draconian inner politics of the Inquisition truly left the players muzzled. This time, it’s time for the BioWare-made Dragon Age Series’ fourth installment to make the howl. Dragon Age Dreadwolf Gameplay Leaks have fans concerned as much as it has them curious.

What’s the Dragon Age Dreadowlf Leaks?

A recent leak over the weekend shows in-game Dragon Age Dreadwolf’s Alpha Gameplay footage. That’s a fancy way of saying leaked footage and screenshots of the game in its alpha stage of development. Which is very early. Here’s the leak below –

  1. The leaks feature a character sprite shrouded in Medieval steel/metal knight armor. Fighting what seems to be two to three mob monsters.
  2. The character knight is seen dashing, dodging, and using a certain charge attack that leaves the mob monster flying. The charge attack is a special kind of jump kick, one I’d definitely be willing to try.

The leaks do remind us of the God of War Gameplays. The real-time battle action seems to have improved a giant bit from the previous Dragon Age series installments. With that set, we also bring notice to the menu section. With all these leaks, here’s what you can expect from the game.

How does the Dragon Age Dreadwolf Gameplay Leak give us off about its animation?

Also note that with the release of the leaks, it feels evident that its animation and the visual aspect will be a quality above anything BioWare has ever done.

And this is something that the leaker themselves have specifically mentioned. That the animation feels way too good. And we will add here that it indeed is, especially for a leaked footage of the alpha game stage.

Before diving into expectations…

The right way to approach leaks is to understand that they could very well be a fabrication. But our assumption here is that it is indeed a true and righteous representation of what the game will eventually be.

With that set, let us explore the possibilities that Dragon Age Dreadwolf can present to us.

Possible release date for Dragon Age DreadWolf

Now if the leaks are Alpha stage footage, there are a few stages to go. Mainly beta testing and more. With that, a 2023 release seems to be haphazard of a task for BioWare to risk.

It is likely that the game could have an early 2024 release, giving ample time for further testing, revision and marketing. The game has been in development since 2015, it’s only no wonder that they won’t rush it.

Possibilities with crew collection and modification

The game should follow up with the retaining features of its ancestral installments Meaning the prior rituals of recruiting and growing your crew. These crew members are often encountered by completing missions – some main, some side.

The recruited members should fill up the hub. The usual process of equipment and tool modification should remain.

Will the player be able to control the crewmates?

Although regarding the controlling of team members, it seems BioWare still is hesitant to introduce something like that. Only one character may be fully controlled by the player for the time being. Whereas the player can give commands that the computer-controlled crew mates will follow.

The value of Solas as a villain?

Also, with the banners, key visuals and even the name Dreadwolf – the game hints at Solas the Elf playing a vital role in the story. Dragon Age 4 seems to be a drive focusing more on narrative. While the combined forces of character customization, growth, leveling and combat exist to aid the driving narrative.

Concluding

The combat seen in the leaks gives us a combined vibe of God of War’s battle mechanics, combined with Hack n’ slash elements from Final Fantasy 15.

So far, BioWare General Manager Gary McKay revealed in a blog post that the entirety of Dragon Age Dreadwolf Gameplay is so far playable. Meaning, from the beginning opening scene of the first mission to the very end, the game is more or less compiled.

What awaits now is a thorough revisiting of everything to make sure the bugs and glitches are sorted. Before the promotional marketing of end stage is approved.
