A new game from Ubisoft is coming soon, and it looks like it’s their newest attempt at the PvP genre after Hyper Scape. Project Q is Ubisoft’s newest project. Following leaked gameplay footage surfacing online, Ubisoft took it upon themselves to confirm that the game is indeed in the works.

Ubisoft took to Twitter to officially announce Project Q

Project Q is a multiplayer battle arena game with seemingly lots of content to offer. After the leaked footage of the game started making rounds online, it was only a matter of time before Ubisoft caught on. Instead of staying quiet about the leak, they instead chose it as an opportunity to announce their newest project.

Not much is known yet about Project Q and it’s obvious the game is still in development. However, Ubisoft did clear up in the following tweet that it is not a battle royale game. They added that the game features various PvP modes “with one single goal in mind: fun!”

The game features some interesting weapons and an art style similar to Overwatch and Fortnite

Based on the leaked gameplay footage, Project Q’s overall art looks like Overwatch and Fortnite. Many gamers also noticed this detail so it’s interesting to see how Ubisoft will make Project Q more distinct from other PvP games.

Take a look at Project Q’s leaked gameplay footage below.

The footage gives us a look at the different features in Project Q. Thor’s hammer, the Mjölnir, also looks like it’s going to be usable in the game. Additionally, the game lets players pick their abilities and skills aside from what weapon they want to use.

Project Q looks like it’s going to live up to its single goal: having fun. We’re definitely excited to see what the game has to offer, and we can’t wait for more updates about the game.

As of now, there is still no release date for the game. However, you can register here for the latest updates on Ubisoft’s Project Q.
