Valheim Chitin — How to Get Easy Guide

Chitin is an important item that is used to craft two weapons: the Abyssal Razor & the Abyssal Harpoon. We have made a guide on how to craft the Abyssal Harpoon. Here’s how you can find Chitin:

Leviathans

Right now, the only way you can find Chitin is by mining Abyssal Barnacles. For that you need to craft a boat and sail out into an Ocean biome for moving islands called Leviathans, which also happen to be ocean animals. Once you land on a Leviathan island, look for circular protruding structures on the surface that resemble giant pimples. These are Abyssal Barnacles. Mine them and you will obtain Chitin.
