Valheim Wolf Cape – How To Get Easy Guide

BY JC Paredes 5 years AGO 2 MIN READ

The Vikings had a tumultuous relationship with wolves. Wolves can represent terror and destruction, as in Norse mythology’s legendary wolf monster Fenrir, but they can also represent cunning and bravery, as in the noble wolves who hunted alongside Odin. So, if you’re a Viking who wants to be seen as fearsome and brave, I guess you put on a wolf skin. In Valheim, here’s how to make a Wolf Cape.

Wolves’ skins provide a unique benefit that is especially beneficial in such a harsh environment, as they are the natural survivors of the Mountain biome. The Wolf Fur Cloak provides a special frost resistance effect while only providing a 1 armor bonus (up to 4 with upgrades). As long as you don’t get wet, frost resistance allows you to walk freely through the snowy mountains without needing to drink frost-resistant mead.

How to make Wolf Cape

You’ll need three types of materials in the quantities listed below to make a wolf skin cloak:

Wolf Pelts (x6)

  • Fortunately, the mountain biome contains all of these. Pelts and Trophies can be obtained by killing wolves.

Wolf Trophy (x1)

  • The trophies are uncommon, so you may have to go on several hunting expeditions before a wolf drops one.

Silver (x4)

  • It only extracts a small amount of silver ore from one of the Mountains’ numerous silver ore veins. However, keep in mind that finding a vein of silver ore without the help of Wishbone, which can be obtained by defeating Bonemass, is nearly impossible.
  • Remember to bring it with you when you’re looking for shiny things and look for its distinctive sparkles.

Simply take your supplies to the nearest workbench and pound them together once you have them. You’ve got a delightfully warm, if slightly ghoulish, wolf skin cape ready to keep you warm this winter!
